WebMay 8, 2024 · When I run X11 applications in XWayland, ibus-x11 runs automatically, there is no issue with ibus-libpinyin or ibus-rime in Wayland for me. By the way, the first step can be ignored, Gnome has done that automatically, but you need to add ibus-daemon.desktop in /etc/xdg/autostart/ by yourself. Don't forget to restart Gnome.
