I used a dual valve spring that has 170 to 175 lbs on the seat with 420 to 440 lbs open pressure. Did I use to heavy of a spring. I was hoping by now the springs would have soften up a little and the noise would get a little quieter.

I just looked again. It says they are back ordered until mid June. I called Jegs earlier today about my Howards HR lifters that were supposed to ship May 7th, and was told i am now looking at mid-July.

Web28 de mar. de 2012 · At one time I seen 3 of the GM lifters fail in about a 1-2 month period. The bottom piece broke off and did a number on the cam. I would think they have that fixed now. And not all GM have the line on them. Have got a box of 16 and some had it and others did not. All in the same box. Web8 de mai. de 2024 · Cold Start: engine starts and runs fine but then lifter starts making noises. Oil pressure on my motor stays at 60psi. If i just let it sit there and idle it will continue to make noise even after it has warmed up. Any lifter that I can disassemble I will do so and clean out the crap as reassemble. I sent it back and he told me my pushrods where binding and not spinning and the lifters wore in 1 spot instead of rotating.
