A very … WebPainted my Farmall H with Van Sickle red, an it turned a nice white film just sitting inside the barn, out of the sun. Color was sorta close to IH red, but not quite. VAN Sickle? Not for me. My opinion, if you want the correct color, get the paint at the dealer's. Other paints are sorta close, but not quite right.

Web16 jun. 2024 · I am still upset they went away from valspar tractor and implement paint. Diamond hard wasn't available last time I painted something. The diamond hard is an acrylic enamel (water based). Kinda reads like Sherwin Williams DTM (direct to metal) paint that is also water based. I like the SW DTM, but can't get locally. WebI have just discovered Ingilby paints and purchased some barn paint for my fence around the vegetable garden. Its easy to apply and was touch dry in 10 minutes with a very solid colour finish after 2 coats. I look forward to trying more paint from the range. I consider Ingilby paints a great find. Web25 sep. 2024 · It's a lot of work to paint a tractor. As much work as it is you would be better off using an automotive paint. It would last more than twice the time an alkyd enamel would last. Then Majic has a poor reputation. If you are going to use an alkyd at least get a better one. The Rustoleum Farm and Implement paint would hold up better. Not only is the price awesome but the array of colors also. Each one blends so good with mediums and thinners.
