Web5 de dez. de 2016 · Is it normal for GPU clock speed to fluctuate while gaming? I'm running a GTX 980 SC which has a boost clock of 1366 MHz. It'll hit 1366 but then drop down to anything from 1000-1200 and eventually go back up to 1366. It's intermittent and just seems to jump around for no apparent reason.

I ran memtest overnight for another 10 hours hours will no errors. I did have ram from my old computer that went bad but gave no errors so its worth a shot I guess. As per NVIDIA's specifications, the GTX 980 will start to throttle at 80C. So as long as you keep it below that you won't suffer any performance lost. Your ambient temperature seems quite low so I would guess that you're getting those temperatures because you have poor airflow inside your case.
