Step 3 After that, you have to remove the keypad that is not working. Step 4 Next, tap the ‘Add’ icon and select the problematic keypad device to re-install it. WebbSame basic issue, where the keypad would work, but then shut down and not power up. The only solution i found was to make sure and leave the batteries out for 5 minutes. Then replace with new fresh ones. After 2 or 3 cycles of this, the pad finally locked in, and I haven't had an issue since. Good luck!
